FonePaw Screen Recorder is a multi-function program that, as its name implies, allows you to record what happens on your screen, but not only that, it also, lets you record sounds, take screenshots, record your videogame activity and your phone screen, and more. This is useful if you create tutorials that involve on-screen activity, or if you like to record and share your videogame abilities. You can also record your video calls and save them for further reference.
The program has a nice, intuitive, and simple interface that allows you to easily choose the function you need. You only need to click on the corresponding icon, and the interface will show you a control panel, as well as the perimeter of the recording area, which you can adjust according to your needs.
The program also has some advanced functions. For example, you can record only the area around the mouse, or make the camera follow the mouse movement. Also, you can set the video resolution, schedule repetitive tasks, and more.
The main disadvantage I found is that the program is subscription-based; that is, you can't actually purchase it but you need to pay a monthly fee, which is rather high, to use all the program's functions.
The shareware version allows you to save only 3 minutes of your recordings. Also, noise cancellation and microphone enhancement functions are disabled. If you want to get rid of these limitations, you will need to purchase a license, which as I've said earlier, is subscription-based.
